Providing the highest quality of individualized care is the passion of owner and physical therapist Dave Abbett. A therapist for 25 years, Dave draws on his extensive professional background treating patients in outpatient, home health, skilled nursing and inpatient settings. The depth of his background gives him the advantage of knowing the healing process from acute injury to return to home. Whether a work-related injury, a sports-related injury or rehabilitation after an acute medical incident, Dave distinguishes himself as a therapist who can customize a rehabilitation program to meet your goals and needs to help you feel better, move better, and live better.
Dave holds his B.S. in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico. He was inspired to become a physical therapist when he broke bones in his neck in a serious car/bicycle accident when he was 15 years old. He spent his early career out west in Colorado, California, and New Mexico where he worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as managed several small outpatient clinics and worker's compensation programs. As a traveling therapist for a number of years, Dave learned to be flexible treating in a variety of unique situations with an extremely diverse clientele.
Dave, his wife, and three sons have lived in New Hampshire for 16 years. When Dave is not driving boys to soccer or cross country meets, he and his family are enjoying the beauty of New Hampshire. He can also be found working on one of the half-dozen home improvement projects that never seem to end.
